Puget Sound Boot Camp at Alki Beach

Alki Beach Run for Breast Cancer

Alki Beach Run for Breast Cancer

Yesterdays morning run was so beautiful.  Blue skies, blue ocean, and SUN!  I was so nervous since the week before was so wet and dreary.  I did not want to run next to the water on a cold windy day.  My son Alfred (10 yrs. old) and daughter, Feliciana (5yrs old) jogged/walked along side us.  It was their first 5k ever!  They are definitly ready to do more events with us.  The Alki Beach run is the perfect family run.  It’s a straight 1 1/2 mile shot heading north then a turn around at the anchor statue.  It was easy to keep track of the kids, no windy turns.  Make sure you promote this to your family next year!

Carol Ann Knox with her daughter, son-in law, and grand children. All in the race!

Congratulations JENNIFER MORRISSEY (left) on her first race! Congratulations Carol Kohn (middle) for beating your Iron Girl time by 5 HUGE minutes!
